Shortest path issues after importing OSM roads for simulation

I'm building a traffic sim using OSM road data from southern France. I filtered for major road types and cleaned it up in QGIS. v.net.components shows one main network, but shortest path still fails on many segments, and only some routes work in tests.
Anyone run into this? Tips for getting clean routing from OSM data?

Check if some one-way tags or turn restrictions got dropped during cleanup. You might wanna try running everything through osm2po first before pushing it into QGIS.
