Has anyone here used the General Laser GLRM for GIS field mapping?

I recently came across the General Laser GLRM while looking at compact RTK GNSS receivers.

There doesn't seem to be much independent discussion about it yet.

If you've used it, I'd be interested in hearing:

  • How reliable is the RTK fix?
  • How well does it work with QField or ArcGIS Field Maps?
  • How does it compare with receivers like the Emlid Reach RX or Trimble Catalyst?
  • Any pros or cons after using it in the field?

Hey, glad you're diving into the RTK world. The GLRM seems to be flying under the radar a bit so you might get better responses if you also post this in the equipment reviews section where people comparing receivers tend to hang out.

What kind of mapping projects are you planning to use it for?
